How to Set Up Direct Deposit on Homebase
To set up direct deposit on Homebase, navigate to the payroll section and select “Direct Deposit” under employee settings. Enter your bank account information, including routing and account numbers. Homebase will make two small test deposits to verify your account, which may take up to two business days. Once verified, your payroll will be deposited directly into your bank account.
To set up direct deposit on Homebase, follow these steps:
- Tap the “More” tab (the tab with 3 dots on the bottom of your Homebase Resident App). Then, select “Payment Methods.”
- Tap “Add New Payment Method”
- Tap to add your bank info
- Select “Link Bank” which is the recommended method. Search for your bank, find it, and tap “Login”. This will instantly verify your bank account and let you transact.
If your bank does not appear in the list, select “Add bank account manually” and enter your account number and routing number. Tap “Add Account.” You will need to verify your account via micro-deposits which can take up to two business days.
Once your bank account is set up, you can choose your payroll processing speed:
- 4-business days: submit your payroll by Monday at 6 pm ET for a Friday payday
- 2-business days: submit your payroll by Wednesday at 6 pm ET for a Friday payday
If you already have a direct deposit set up but want to switch your account, go to Settings, select “View Homebase account info” under “Manage accounts”, and you will see the option to switch to a Pay Any Day Account.
That’s it! With your bank account linked, Homebase will automatically deposit your payroll into your account on your chosen payday.
