Who Owns Clockify?

Clockify was founded by Nenad Milanovic and Lazar Vujanic in 2017. Nenad Milanovic is the CEO and co-founder, while Lazar Vujanic is the CTO and co-founder.

Milanovic brings extensive experience in software development and entrepreneurship to Clockify. He co-founded two other successful software ventures before founding Clockify. His technical expertise and passion for creating user-centered products played a pivotal role in shaping Clockify’s design and functionality.

Having a strong background in software development, entrepreneurship, or both seems to be the prerequisite for launching a successful SaaS company. Just like Milanovic, founders of other time clock apps for small businesses have come from similar backgrounds:

• Homebase was founded by John Waldmann, who has a background in technology and entrepreneurship, focusing on providing tools for small businesses to manage their workforce effectively. 
• Jobber, another software aimed at service businesses, was co-founded by Sam Pillar and Dustin Deno, both of whom have extensive experience in software development and entrepreneurship.
• busybusy was established by Isaac Barlow, who has a strong construction background, recognizing the need for better time tracking solutions in the industry after years of managing construction projects.

Meanwhile, Clockify co-founder Vujanic is a software engineer with a strong background in web and mobile development. His technical skills and entrepreneurial mindset, along with his dedication to delivering a seamless user experience, have been critical to Clockify’s success.

Together, Milanovic and Vujanic share a common goal of creating a time-tracking solution that caters to a wide range of users, from individuals to businesses of all sizes.
