Is the Workyard time clock app a good fit for small businesses?

Yes, Workyard has been designed specifically to be simple to adopt and use for small businesses. We’ve designed an easy to use setup experience for our app, whereby a typical small business can be up and running within 30 minutes.

Does Workyard support supervisors recording hours on behalf of their crews?

Workyard allows supervisors to clock in and out their crew by selecting the workers that they want to clock in from the mobile time clock app.

How does Workyard work when there is no cell service?

Workers are able to clock in and out even when their phone is offline. The GPS tracking relies on satellite signal, so it will continue to work even without an internet connection.

Does Workyard integrate with QuickBooks?

Yes, Workyard is an official Quickbooks partner, and offers a seamless integration with both QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks online. Employees, Projects, Service Items can be synced between Workyard and Quickbooks. Time Cards broken down by Project & Service Item can be easily exported at the click of a button. Does Workyard offer a free version?

Can you restrict when employees are allowed to clock in and out?

Yes, you can use time clock rules to restrict clock in and out times, and also restrict clock in to geofenced locations.

Do you support geo-fencing?

Yes, you can set up geofences for your projects to easily detect arrivals and departures across your whole crew and more.

How do you deal with employees switching off location access on their phone?

We proactively detect a range of scenarios like employees switching off location access or simply turning off their phone and make you aware of it by displaying the events that occurred on the time card.
